The Drop Dance Studio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit street dance studio servicing Southern Tucson. Home base to all dancers seeking to develop their dance and artistry.
Our mission is to uplift the future generation of dance artists and leaders within our underserved community, drawing upon the wisdom and legacies embedded in diverse street dance forms like Hip Hop, Popping, Whacking, Locking, and Breaking.

WHAT WE OFFER
FOUNDATION
Our class schedule offers a few different paths that you can take depending on your goals, experience and age level. Whether you are developing your technique, training professionally or dancing for fun, we have something for you.
Foundation classes aim to introduce and challenge dancers in specific dance forms like Hip Hop, House, Whacking and Breaking. Basic drills and concepts are taught to build understanding of the style along with combos to instill repetition for refinement.
CHOREOGRAPHY
Choreo classes are structured and guided to teach a specific dance routine to a song taught by an instructor. Each class is different as every instructor has their unique style of movement.
YOUTH CLASSES
Kids and Youth classes are the starting point for young dancers. Hip Hop classes in specific age categories (5-9) & (9-16) teach the dance basics that promote an understanding for music and movement while building up confidence.
